Math Solver Privacy Policy

1. Our Privacy Promise

Math Solver performs its released calculations, supported solutions, graphs, saved work, and learning activities on your device. The app does not require an account or an InnoVista Labs server.

The first public release has no advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud upload, subscription, or payment service. InnoVista Labs does not sell personal data.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

• Calculation history can include expressions, results, rendered notation, and the time a calculation was completed.
• Solver history can include the problem, selected operation, verified answer, solution steps, warnings, and verification method.
• Saved work can include titles, folders, and graph, table, matrix, vector, or statistics workspace inputs and results.
• Learning progress stores aggregate attempt counts, topic accuracy, and streaks. It does not store your raw answers or tutor questions.
• Appearance and language preferences are stored locally so the app can remember your choices.

3. Android Access and Permissions

The first public release requests no Internet, camera, microphone, photo, file, contacts, or location permission.

• Camera, image recognition, handwriting recognition, and voice input are experimental code paths that are not accessible in this release. Their Android permissions are not included.
• Android may add an app-scoped signature permission to protect internal components. It does not give Math Solver access to personal information, sensors, files, or other apps.

4. How Information Is Used

Locally stored information is used only to calculate results, show verified solutions, restore history and saved work, continue learning progress, and remember app settings.

5. Sharing and Third Parties

Math Solver does not automatically transmit your mathematical work or preferences to InnoVista Labs, advertisers, analytics companies, or data brokers.

The app uses open-source and third-party software libraries locally to render mathematics, store preferences, and provide app features. The released app has no Internet permission, so these libraries cannot use the app to upload your work.

6. Storage, Retention, and Deletion

• Unsaved calculation history is kept on the device up to the app's documented local limit and can be cleared from History.
• Saved work remains until you remove it or uninstall the app.
• Learning progress and preferences remain until app data is cleared in Android settings or the app is uninstalled.
• Uninstalling Math Solver removes its private app data through Android.

7. Security

Math Solver keeps its saved data in Android app-private storage and does not ship provider credentials. No software can guarantee absolute security, so keep a separate copy of important work when appropriate.

8. Children

Math Solver is a general mathematics utility and learning tool. Because the first release has no account, advertising, analytics, or server collection, InnoVista Labs does not knowingly collect children's personal information through the app.

9. Google Play Data Safety

Math Solver does not collect or share user data as those terms apply to the first release's Google Play Data safety disclosure. Its released features process and store information on the device.

10. Policy Changes and Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy when Math Solver adds new features or Android access requirements. The updated policy will be posted here with a revised date.
